Synopsis The Female Lead I Saved Starts Chasing Me, But the System Panics

In an attempt to save a girl darting across the street, Mu Chen was sent before the gods by a truck. As a reward for his heroic act, the deity granted him a chance at revival—on one condition: he must help the second female lead in a story achieve a perfect ending. Confident in his abilities, Mu Chen threw himself into the role of a devoted supporter.

Yet, every time he thought victory was within reach, the female leads turned on him.

– The serene and beautiful campus belle: “You’re my boyfriend. If you fall for someone else… I’ll just have to make you forget.”
– The aloof and distant immortal fairy: “My beloved senior brother, if you become another’s husband… I’ll have no choice but to lock you away.”

Welp, I read some chapters and it’s a love triangle story. There’s 2 girls and the mc. I can’t really judge it as this is not my type of story but it doesn’t seem that bad or rushed. It’s all about the romance though so if that’s not your cup of tea, then move on.

Chinese novels unfortunately have to be rushed because they get paid from donations. That type of model doesn’t lend itself to creating masterpieces or anything more than fast food-like stories. If it feels like nothing is happening in some chapters, the author can’t make money. Hence why it feels like most chinese novels have none stop conflict and/or action. Also, there’s a lot of reader input taken into account by the authors so lots of novels end up abandoning their original plan and doing what their loyal readers want. It doesn’t always work out for them but they’re chasing that money just like the rest of us. I haven’t read this novel yet but I have no doubt that it’s rushed.

A lot of these Chinese novels are too rushed. Especially this.
