He died during World War III and was reborn in a fantasy world.
“Draw a sword named ‘Card’ from your deck!”
“Arrest him through a duel!”
“Prove whether you’re right or wrong—through a duel!”
But something feels a little off about how this world works.
Unlike the title of the novel itself, the author does not seem to play card games seriously, and this reflects on their writing. A shame because I like card game stories.
If you are going to take inspiration from systems of various card game systems and mix them up, please don’t make the rules confusing and explain them properly.
Writing fun acrobatic duels is fine, but please stop repeating the same trick so often. Decks with atrocious consistency in real environmens due to high amount of extremely situational cards are fine in anime/manga because at least they try keep things fresh.
For example, why not use different Zone/Field spells instead of just adding effects to [Lost World]?
There are more things I want to say, but since they also are complaints with regards to “Magic & Creature” instead of the story itself, which is fine in my opinion, I will shut up for now.

Can’t wait for more chapters, it actually interesting how the decks reflects their users’ experiences and history, evolving as they age as well. Btw, could you please update Being a villaim is my calling?
The cover reminds me of digimon metal greymon
