  1. John Novel says:

The author doesn’t know how to pop a popcorn novel, much less actually cook.

It’s really that bad. Worse because it could be good, but that disappears in disappointment by chapter 10 when it becomes harder and harder to ignore things. And then it gets worse.
Why is the Maid’s mother a Schodinger experiment? Hell, the maid’s sister also ceases to exist afterwards.
Why is there a platoon of guards suddenly able to track down the guerilla demons and get merc’d on the same day the MC informs the local lord he’s about to solve everything? Doesn’t matter, gets paved over.
Why are there no repercussion for the fiancee being utterly cruel to the MC even though it’s her own family that needs the engagement to stick the most? Who cares, MC doesn’t. Everyone knows, but nothing comes of it. Even the reasoning MC pulls out of his ass to accept five years of twice a week minimum two hour verbal abuse is pointless because he forgives and cancels the engagement dissolution. The exact thing he kept harping on needing to do.
    I could go on.
He just sits there and đź‘€ “haha…” at catfights happening right in front of him over him. He’s not dense at this point, there’s nothing in that noggin.
Also the beeeeg tweeeeeest of hinting at the ogMC actually being a heroine while setting her up as a future source conflict is not interesting at all when the whole harem already behaves like a manure pile.

  2. ashy larry says:

I could only stomache up to chapter 27 till I had to give up. This is your basic japanese mc, which means he’s a doormat and a contradictory idiot. He wants to pair the original mc with the heroines but keeps getting involved with them. He also doesn’t speak up when he really should like when he should tell one of the heroines to fuck off but instead he’s thinking of giving her another chance. Another chance for what exactly? Didn’t he originally want to pair the original mc with the heroines so then why give his ex fiance a chance to reconcile? If you like light novels then gives this one a go but it’s nothing special.
