Why are these newer novels so stupid? 18 chapters in and this retard author makes the mc let an alchemist go that tried to kill him. He was also a serial killer and the only reason he let him go was because he feared the power behind him. Does the author want us as readers not to think even if he’s left alive he wouldn’t ask that power to kill the mc? If the mc really is scared of dying, he should’ve thought exactly what I just did here but he didn’t. Instead, it’s a stupid reason that can be nullified if you think for more than a second. I have a feeling things will get even stupider and even worse assholes will be let go so Imma dip before I rage. I know this isn’t one of those strong mc’s but this isn’t even one of those trying to survive mcs even if the author is pretending it is. It’s more of a misunderstanding novel which is where the comedy will come from I’m guessing. I suggest reading this if you don’t mind what I mentioned. It’s actually interesting with the plot of the villains minus the mc himself.
