Synopsis I’m an Extra but I Became the Heroines’ Love Manager

“””Please help me connect with my childhood friend!!”””

It’s been 20 years since I was possessed as an extra in a non-existent game.

I barely managed to get the position of the protagonist’s childhood friend, but the heroines approached me and asked me to connect with them.

In the end, for the sake of my comfortable future, I decided to become their love manager for a small(?) price and help them achieve love.

But as time goes by, the way they look at me seems to be getting weirder….?

  1. John Novel says:

No, sure, the MC is a bit dense, but the heroines aren’t at all innocent, yeah? Yet the author insists on it being the MC’s fault for being dense and not picking up clues.

All the heroines, all of them, have made it obvious to him that they have no romantic interest in him. They’ve beat him over the head with it that they’re interested in MC’s friend, and not boring old ugly MC. Then events happen, MC shows his stuff, and they start to change their mind about him romantically. Common cliché, no need to expand on it.
Except the MC is still suffering from that metaphoric concussion they gave him, he’s still playing wingman for all three have a chance to win the Polobowl. And all three heroines pointedly try to forget this, sweep it under the rug, and then get upset because MC’s keeping with the terms and conditions they all signed a magically-binding contract to.

*smacks contract* “Well, there’s no way they could be interested in me except as friends. I’ve got their notarized signatures right here stating they’ll spend the next three or four years, with my assistance, trying to bang my best buddy, Polo.”

There’s no room for them to be playing this hinting nonsense, and the author is a dumb dumb for trying to make it the MC’s fault. And what’s worse? Apparently every women that has had romantic interest in him has followed a similar story of dismissing him, getting rescued by him, changing their mind about him, and…. completely fucking fumbling the ball to get into a relationship with him.

At this point, it’s not an MC issue, it’s an author issue. The author has damned his protagonist to be surrounded by tsunderes that lie to his face about their romantic feelings, and self-destruct their relationship with MC into passing acquaintances. We’re merely witnessing the latest four tsunderes of this repeating hellscape.

The author should sideline every girl trying to be a harem hanger-on and shoot for the finish line: gay sex, with Polo. An instant 10/10 twist of a story.
