The mc has FAILED their objective. The Heroine annoys me by simply existing. But, I’m annoyed at the author. He made the mc fail his objective so early in the novel.
All because author choose an overused goal. “Avoid the main characters.”
The Heroine is annoying because she stops mc from achieving his goal. So she becomes an unintentional obstacle. Which is why I can’t see her as anything other than a nuisance.
I’m being offered ice-cream but the author sprinkled a dash of vinegar. I’m disgusted.
But will the author realise his mistake and hand me a scoop of plain vanilla? (“Number 1 Flavour”, “The Enduring King”)
