Mc is exactly like a “comedy” mc so him being both pathetic and a eunuch isn’t surprising. What I dislike in so many “comedy” novels is that they aren’t really comedy. You’re supposed to laugh at the misfortune of the mc but it’s hard to laugh when the world rules and logic change to keep the mc and the former maid connected somehow. This is a spoiler so don’t read on from here. The thing that made me quit after 52 chapters is that he got the power of the demon king and killed someone who is a stronger disaster than the maid and yet she is still considered a danger to him for some reason. Then he decided to take her back to supposedly save the world but this dumb f*ck doesn’t realize that he won’t be able to live any kind of normal life with her around and that was always his goal initially. Not to mention he brought her around his family who he supposedly loves and they for sure would draw in the maid’s ire but I’m supposed to believe that the mc would sacrifice his family for the world? Only if this was anything but a “comedy” novel.

The maid herself doesn’t make any type of sense. She claims to want a master worthy of her servitude but it sounds like she wants a husband not a master. She’s annoying and isn’t likeable in any way. I can tell she is somewhat of a tsundere but those types of people are not good female lead material. It’s not a good thing if the main heroine of your novel (and she is the main heroine even when others are introduced) isn’t a good or likeable character. Not that the mc or the other characters are much better.
