  1. Suherman Joshua says:

The way the MC thinks is really frustrating. From what the MC is saying, he doesn’t even know who his fiancée will end up with or the ending of novel, so how can you tell if it will be a happy ending or a tragic one? Then, even if his fiancée’s ends up rolling around in a field of shit and suffering after becoming a villainess before the ending, are you still consider it a happy ending and keep trying to match your fiancée with another man. It’s not like something unfortunate will happen if you marry her, and you just stop thinking, “I have to pair her with another man”

I like this story. It tells of a cheerful girl who becomes isolated because of her mind-reading powers. She gets engaged to the MC, an extra character who doesn’t appear in the original novel. The MC is basically an awkward boy who tries to act strong and cool but actually has difficulty showing his emotions. He isn’t perfect like many male leads in shoujo and fantasy Korean novels. He makes mistakes, like attempting a simple test of magic and failing, which leaves him isolated in class. When that happens, he feels shy and turmoil inside, yet he pretends to be cool and fine. The female lead is the only one who knows the MC’s inner thoughts and helps him. I can see why he never appeared in the original story. Because of his harsh father, the Duke, many of his siblings hate and blame him for their mother’s death. But in this timeline, MC reincarnated as this character, stays with his father. Due to his difficulty in showing emotion, many his sibling hate MC. I think in the original story, most of the Duke’s children left him. The female lead in the original story also becomes a villainess who manipulates the male lead for her own desires. The MC doesn’t remember the story, so he doesn’t know that his fiancée can read minds or how the novel ends. The part where he decides to matchmake his fiancée with another man still leaves a bad taste in my mind. I understand that the MC can’t handle relationships and has a low self-esteem; I hope there are improvements for the MC.

The comment below is correct — if this novel turns into a 19+ story, there’s a high chance it will become NTS

  4. Kevin says:

It’s slow pace but there’s charm of it,how should i say? First fl isn’t a lavender princess type, she knows what she’s want and do it not wasting time. And mc may a little bit dense but still he’s seem to improve himself as time pass in about take care of fl,though we don’t know yet that is he really a goddamn genius overpower befitting a title of little iron-blood duke or something.still i think this is a good read, looking forward to it on the future.

  5. John Novel says:

Unless there’s a sudden tone shift, I expect the MC’s reaction to learning of his fiancé’s mind reading to be: “Oh how embarrassing.”
He keeps pretending otherwise but all his actions explain why everyone calls him Little Ironblood.

Anyways, the novel needs more CF or more Heroine POV. Could just skip MC’s completely instead of repeating the same scene with different POVs. The heroine has mind reading, just show it.

Speaking of mind reading, the MC spends so much time thinking about his fiancé meeting other men for quite a while. Often in front of mind reading fiancé.
Author hand waves this by away by never having her acknowledge it, but God this story could have easily slipped into some awful NTS drama namek.
