One day on his day off, Yusuke Onoe happens upon his classmate, Nanase Hiyori, confronting her childhood friend, Hitoshi Ema.

Because you only read 20 chapters you commented this. This story falls hard after 50~ chapters and becomes useless mush after 100~. The author would rather revive some dead relative than push their relationship forward.
At the point where I dropped this it felt like every side character had more fulfilling time than our MC who wouldn’t want to kiss Hiyori, because oh he so respects her father, even though the said father basically gave him a permission to have her completely.
Very common thing with SoL romances where the story gets dragged out. First 50~ chapters were great and should be an independent story that ends there.
